Advinet  
Is the Technical support line a premium rate number? No the contact number is a national call rate number.
What are the dimensions of the Advinet box? 175mm x 235mm x 50mm.
Can the Advinet system provide the capability for morning and afternoon greeting messages? Yes, the Advinet service can offer the capability of having morning and afternoon messages as well as messages for a limited period, for example a weekly promotion that needs to run for only 4 days.
Does the Advinet system have to use our company's network? The Advinet unit requires access to the internet which can be provided if you have a separate broadband connection outside of your company's network.
At what time will the news be downloaded every day? The news services will be live on your system by 08:30am every morning.
Will the news be available on the weekends? Yes the news is available on weekends to meet our clients needs. 
What happens if the internet access is unavailable? Would the news keep playing even if it was from yesterday? The Advinet services will only be able to play the news files until midnight on the day of download. Your promotional messages will not be affected and will remain playing on your system.
How will we know if we the Advinet Service is not working? The Advinet service is affected by power cuts and any internet loss but our Technical Department checks to ensure that your Advinet Unit has logged in to our servers on a daily basis and will contact you if a problem has occurred.
Is the Advinet unit noisy? No, the Advinet unit is silent and has been developed as a Fanless system. 
Is the Advinet system subject to Virus problems? The Advinet system runs on a UNIX based operating system, with a Java based application. The UNIX OS has been adapted by us and is not subject to any virus problems, due to the OS running from compact flash which is not writeable. The unit uses http to request files from our server which also runs on UNIX and has never been compromised. 
Can the Advinet system be installed on the network using DHCP? The Advinet System can run on DHCP or on a static IP address.  Advitel recommends an allocated IP for easy identification and any restrictions that the firewalls may impose. The Advinet service also has a built in client interface which can only be accessed if the system is installed on a fixed IP address as part of your computer network. 
Studio 10  
What are the dimensions of the Studio10 box? 200mm x 165mm x 40mm.
How will the messages be changed on the Studio10? After the new script has been recorded the production department will send a new module in the post. You will need to remove the old module from the unit, replace it with the new module and return the old module to Advitel in the prepaid envelope provided. 
How can the volume be adjusted? The studio10 has a volume control, treble and bass on the unit behind the flap. 
Can I listen to my new production on the Studio10? Yes, when you have inserted the module you can use the monitor volume to listen to the production through a speaker installed on the unit. 
Can the Studio10 be fixed to the wall? Yes. 
Does the Studio10 require power? Yes, the Studio10 requires a standard UK power socket. 
Communicator  
What are the dimensions of the Communicator? 200mm x 165mm x 40mm.
How will the messages be changed on the Communicator? After the new script has been recorded the production department will send a new module in the post. You will need to remove the old module from the unit, replace it with the new module and return the old module to Advitel in the prepaid envelope provided. 
How can the volume be adjusted? The Communicator has a volume control, treble and bass on the unit. 
Can I listen to my new production on the Communicator? No, the Communicator does not have a built in speaker. You can check the messages by calling in to your offices and being placed on hold. 
Can the Communicator be fixed to the wall? Yes.
Does the Communicator require power? Yes, the Communicator requires a standard UK power socket.
OHP5000  
What are the dimensions of the OHP5000? 275mm x 220mm x 75mm. 
How will the messages be changed on the OHP5000? After the new script has been recorded the production department will send a new CD in the post. You will need to remove the old CD from the unit this is located behind the blue panel, replace with the new CD. 
Is the OHP5000 the same as other normal CD players? No, the OHP5000 has a built in compact flash. When the CD is loaded into the OHP5000 it will copy the information to the compact flash so the CD is not constantly playing. Normal CD players would have a much shorter life span as the laser reading the CD would fail after a period of time. 
How can the volume be adjusted? The OHP5000 has a volume control. 
Can the OHP5000 be fixed to the wall? Yes, the OHP5000 has two holes to allow it to be screwed to the wall.
Does the OHP5000 require power? Yes, the OHP5000 requires a standard UK power socket.
Can I listen to my new production on the OHP5000? Yes, when you have inserted the CD you can use the speaker switch on the right to listen to the production through a speaker installed on the unit.
